About Us
Welcome to Wilson's Gun Dog Supply
- Wilson's Gun Dog Supply is a family owned and operated home based business, which hand makes all of its Collars and Leads. We now have a vinyl graphics and engraving shop for all your sticker, decal and sign needs.
- All items are hand made to order.
- We also work full time jobs so our shipping is not quite as fast as amazon.
- We are also a supplier for Dan's Hunting Gear and Fur Harvesters Trading Post.
- We gave our business the name "Wilson's Gun Dog Supply" not only because our last name is Wilson but we also live in a small town in western New York called Wilson.
- We started this business many years ago when we finally got tired of buying new collars every 6 months for our very own hounds.
- Here at Wilson's Gun Dog Supply we have been raising dogs most of our lives. We have raised Beagles, English and American Foxhounds, and Treeing Walker Coonhounds.
- We only use materials in the making of our products that we use in our very own kennels!
- Our collars have been known to last 10 years at times but will and do last for 3 to 5 years on a regular basis even in the most extreme conditions!
- All of our collars and leashes are hand made using STAINLESS steel hardware including the solid 1 piece rivets. All rings etc. are welded to eliminate seams and pulling apart which adds strength. We use stainless steel for many reasons but the biggest reason is it lasts longer and holds up better even in salt water. It also usually does not stain a dogs coat and is hypoallergenic.
